POLICIES FOR PRIVATE LESSONS:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT PRIVATE LESSONS:

  1. What should I wear?
    • Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and breathe freely. Yoga is practiced in bare feet. I don't recommend jeans, very short shorts that are loose around the groin area, or big and loose t-shirts.
  2. What kinds of props should I have with me?
    • Have a block, an 8-10 foot yoga strap, a yoga mat, and a blanket with you during your lesson. If I have some extra props handy, I can bring them to your lesson for you to try out. Hugger Mugger is a great online store that sells eco-friendly yoga props.
  3. Why do private lessons expire three months after date of purchase?
    • This policy helps keep my date book, as well as yours, organized. If I only had a handful of clients, then this policy would not be necessary.
  4. To whom could I transfer my lessons?
    • You can transfer your lessons to anyone, including friends and family. The same policies for private lessons apply to transferees.
  5. Why do you expect payment and scheduling decisions to be made at least 3 days in advance?
    • Not only does this guarantee your spot and prevent me from scheduling anything else in your preferred lesson time, but it also allows both of us to use your lesson time wisely. Every moment in your private lesson time is precious and should be focused on your yoga and your personal growth. Discussing business matters at your lesson is unproductive for the lesson time. My clients are actually very happy with this policy because they are not constantly concerned about when they'll see me next or how much they owe me. Instead, they can focus on breathing, blissing out, having fun, and doing yoga.
  6. If I cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours notice, will I lose that lesson?
    • No, you won't lose it. I PREFER that you give me at least 24 hours notice. In any case of cancelation, the make-up lesson must take place within 3 months after the canceled lesson.
  7. Do you provide any lessons packages that are bigger than the 4-lesson packages?
    • If you desire to apply for a bigger lesson package, email me or give me a ring.
  8. Can I purchase private lessons as a gift for someone?
    • Absolutely! Just make sure that the lucky person truly wants to take private yoga lessons. Email me or give me a ring to let me know that your purchase is a gift for someone else.
  9. Do you offer discounted rates for non-profits and full-time students?
    • Yes, I do. Contact me for more information.
